After spending 9 years as a classroom teacher, Christy is the current media specialist and instructional coach at Jefferson High School. She has been involved with technology integration and implementation for the last six years. While in the classroom as a social studies teacher, she specialized in the flipped classroom model, BreakoutEDU, green screen videos, and going above and beyond basic technology substitution. At the high school she created a makerspace geared towards STEM education. Having presented at local, state, and national conferences in the past regarding technology integration, Christy is excited to stay local and to connect with educators in the area at the IGNITE conference!
